The Kosovo Assembly Media Office has indicated that media journalists will not be allowed to stay in the Assembly Hall where the hearing will be held.
That's because the part where it's destined for the media, the regulation allows only cameramen and photoreporters, but not journalists.
Read the Parliament's full announcement:
Dear representatives of the media,
The recent increase in the number of media in Kosovo has contributed to the increase in the number of media representatives accredited in the Parliament, and therefore their interest in attending the plenary sessions of the Parliament and other activities.
The Assembly is dedicated to providing media representatives with space, access and facilities as much as possible in conveying their activities, but also holds responsibility for their safety during the stay of the Assembly.
The gallery (front) of the plenary sessions hall is destined for camera and photo reporters, as well as representatives of various local and international institutions and organisations. However, the Parliament has recently tolerated staying in this space even for journalists, even though this is not pre-priced in order and access to media and public in the work of the Parliament.
Now, this ever-growing number of media representatives in this space risks exceeding its original weight, presenting permanent threat to collapse and at the same time risking attendance's lives.
Therefore, in the function of avoiding this danger as well as respecting regulation, accredited journalists can attend the work of Assembly hearings from the designated space for them (before the plenary sessions hall) via television and live broadcasts on the Parliament site.
At the gallery of the plenary meeting room, meanwhile, cameramen and photoreporters” will stay. writesgraphy.
