head of Pec candidates promise percentages for representation of women

The mayoral candidates of the Peja municipality gave big promises of gender representation in future municipal governance.

Many of the mayoral candidates pledged 50 per cent and more women's representation in the future government.

According to NISMA candidate Sali Kelmendi, representation of women will be 50%.

No matter how many directors we have, candidates who are professionally prepared will have priorities. If we have interest, their representation will be up to 50%”, Kelmendi said.

Sabiha Shala from the Democratic Party of Kosovo said women will have more.

I think a little more than half the women”, Shala said.

Reshat Norbono from the Alternative said that directorates will be directed according to options.

Gazmend Muhhajeri from the Democratic League of Kosovo said that between 3 and 5 directors will be run by women.

I believe that the number will be 3-5 as well, the vice president would be female”, Muhramer said.

Fatmir Gashi from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo said representation will be equal.

Eneida Kelmendi of the Word Party said the woman would be most supportive.

Bashkino from the Vetevendosje Movement said the woman in his government could have up to 60% director.
