Haradinaj faces protests on first visit to this country

Village residents Hade and Shiptule are protesting in front of the Obilic municipality, which Kosovo Prime Minister-elect Ramush Haradinaj will later visit.

Protesters have called for the interruption of KEK's machine work in their villages and the abolition of all decisions taken by previous governments.

Protesters gathered before the municipality have also met with Obilic leader Dzafer Gashi, who has told them that today there will be a meeting with the country's prime minister, where their demands will be considered.

“I hope the Haradinaj Government will make solutions for these residents”, Gashi said as he promised them a public hearing with Prime Minister Haradinaj.
