Many Kosovo Liberation Army fighters have remained in serious condition, but there are many others who came from other countries to help the liberation war.
Such is the case of German Kargus Karlhenz (Heinz). He voluntarily came to Kosovo in 1998 to join KLA reports albinfo.ch.
Heinz, as everyone calls him, has since lived in Kosovo and has established a family. He has Albanian wife and a 13-year-old son. He lives in Ferizaj and works at KSF.
But, as the Benevolent Association “Balkan Lifes” reports, it has never returned to Germany and lives in serious condition.
In Kosovo, there is an urgent need for such a home together with his family. He has been living in one house for years and sometimes in a rented house. We have visited and seen the harsh conditions in which he lives. We think that this is the least help we can do for Hans and his family, so we also expect charity to join us to provide permanent housing”, says the announcement of this association.
