Fehmi Ferati shows what made him run for Mitrovica chairman

Candidates for future Mitrovica chairman from the Vetevendosje ranks, Fehmi Ferati, has indicated why he has decided to enter politics, as well as his plans, goals and project for this city.

I have not seen myself before in politics, but personal despairs, recently that have occurred in my city, have made a decision to engage exactly in the subject that has remained consistent with its goals and principles”, Ferati has said.

He has denied the possibility of his failure in this race, saying the competition has its job, experience, and long - term commitment, which he said he has always done with honor.

Ferati also spoke of his competitors, who he said were good people, but he highlighted creativity as a virtue that separates him from others.

He has suggested competing candidates be careful in their vocabulary during the campaign, and not promise irreversible things.

I don't trust failure based on all my work, experience and all personal commitments. All my life I've worked with honor, sweat and open forehead. Mitrovica has 10 candidates for mayor. I personally know them as good people, I don't see any competition they can show from personal plans. I expect creativity and not constant and boring rhetoric of these 15-year-old campaigns. I'm asking the candidates not to lie to me, and don't use communication with the imagination of the citizen by promising projects that are not realized because this is not moral and ethical... I think all my experience in business, even creativity, even in the field of the medium, strategic communication will help me enough with the government, knowing the city, born and growing up in the city... I know the problems”, he said.

About the main pillars of the programme, he has mentioned education, health, tourism, and especially Trepca reports as the main pillars of his programme.

Ferati has ordered the electorate for opponents in politics not to be viewed as enemies.

“Mitrovica has specific and very interesting specifications that in Mitrovica a new capital is likely to be created, reactivating intelligence and youth.
