EU official meets with Ymer and Hoti, says opposition must be constructive

The EU official, who has been staying in Kosovo today, has also met opposition representatives Wisar Ymer of Vetevendosje and Avdullah Hoti of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
Like representatives of power, even in nearby opposition Angelina Eichhorst, Deputy Managing Director for Europe and Directors for Western Europe, the Western Balkans and Turkey at the European Foreign Service have made clear EU priorities for authorities in Kosovo.
The “Oposit is important in democracy, but must be constructive and contribute to Kosovo's progress through MMA, visa liberalisation and dialogue” has said Eichorst.
Eichorst today during the day before the media has said its message to Kosovo leaders is to recognise the importance of the current moment by thinking strategically and grasping the possibility of approaching the EU as soon as possible.
The EU official has called for reforms in the area of rule of law, justice and fundamental human rights.
It has called for ratification of the IPA 2016, which will bring 70.5m euros from the EU to the people of Kosovo.
