President Donald Trump criticised Senator John McCain in a political rally in Alabama for rejecting the Republican Party's recent effort to replace the health service law.
During his speech held at a campaign meeting for Republican Senator Luther Strange, Trump said McCain's opposition was something sad “” and terrible “”.
“
President Trump continued the attacks on Arizona Senator through several shots Saturday morning. He wrote:
“John McCain never intended to vote on the law, which his governor strongly supports. He had been campaigning against Obamacare, with the current move leaving Arizona in the mud. ”
Senator McCain announced his opposition to the republics Friday to replacing the Co-ordinated Health Service Act, known as Obamacare, the important achievement of former President Obama in domestic politics.
The 81-year-old senator, who is struggling with brain cancer, said that he would not allow his conscience to vote for a law that would change significant parts of “Obamacare” and replace them with grants for individual states to formulate individual health service programmes on their own.
McCain's opposition risks rejecting the new proposal and many years of attempts by the republics to break it down and replace it.
A large number of medical organisations and a two-party group of state governors are also opposed to the republican proposal, arguing that it would allow millions of people to lose health insurance, or reduce coverage of certain health services.
