The new Border Line Marking Commission with Montenegro, appointed by the government “Haradinaj”, has already officially started work. That is how the members of this Commission, who have said that next week there will be even greater commitment to both the cabinet and field work.
However, the Montenegrin Embassy, in response to “Zenin”, has reiterated once again that the demarcation issue is already done.
But despite that, Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has demanded that demarcation be skipped as a condition for visa liberalisation.
Recognisors of the liberalisation process consider that Kosovo should focus more on fighting crime and corruption (the other visa condition) than on renegotiating the Demarcing Agreement. Since this takes a lot of time and drags on the visa liberalisation process.
