CEC considers Supreme decision in Zafir Berisha case, others

The Central Election Commission today will hold the next meeting, where Supreme Court decisions are expected to be considered -- decisions that reject the decestification of several candidates from the CEC -- enabling them to participate in local elections.

Thus say Kosovo sources Press, under which part of the review of Supreme decisions is the return of Zafir Berisha to the Prizren mayoral race.

Other rulings of the Supreme Court will also be considered regarding candidates long ago CEC has been decedented because over the past three years they have been condemned to absolute justice.

Regarding the deceertification of 86 candidates for local elections from the CEC, the Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has also reacted, saying that this action of the CEC is a gross case of discrimination through the use or misuse of double standards in implementing judicial decisions, allowing them to be in the national race and the same by eliminating them in the local race.
