Beqaj again targets finance minister's seat, analysts sharply object

One of the critics and expert Avni Zogiani stressed that the appointment I Beqaj for minister for the fourth mandate, while from this position has generated enormous wealth, poses high risk.

“Beqaj, with his decisions he has exposed the public company sector to many possibilities for arbitrage processes. I have doubts that his insane enrichment, by a man who came by rent when he came to Pristina, is related precisely to the damage of public companies as much as he was the minister of economy”, Avni Zogiani said.

Nearly the same opinion is held by political connoisseur Imer Mushkolaj, who stressed that former Prime Minister Beqaj does not belong in the Government of Kosovo.

“The name in public office in the Haradinaj Government of people involved in scandals would only discredit this government. These must be handled with justice, not rewarded with positions and privileges. But I'm skeptical that in the future government all the chosen ones will be clean. The cause of the numerous interests of political parties can be secured by decision-making positions even those who should not be there”, analyst Mushkolaj said.

Long ago the Inseder portal in the XII series of publications called “Chiefs File”, Adem Grabovci and Beqaj had received full competencies from Hashim Thaci, who at the helm of three public enterprises, PTK, Infrako and Traiko were deployed to people representing their interests.

A series of phone wiretappings, according to them by Grabovci and Beqaj, testify to these plans that were finalised by appointments.

However, Beqaj in an interview at RTV Dukaagjini has said that telephone wiretapping should be confirmed, “in order to see if there were violations of the law”. It goes so far as to call it common for a senior state official to face these “things”.

Being a high state official can make you face these things. It's actions that happen, but normally that discussions that are always made with agendas to treat agendas, are always of interest”, he said.

MP The PDK further says it never hired anyone, no legal relations.
I have three mandates, but I have not hired anyone without legal relations. Ministers don't employ people, but they're just leaders of the institutions' policies, they're competitions that deal with that”, Beqaj relates,

He has also spoken of a series of “ChiefsFile” in which conversation, he and the former head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, had taken on the task of approaching the party's relatives in public companies like: PTK, Infracos and Traikos. I took this opportunity to name it a business conversation rather than a private one.

It's a conversation between friends, it's a conversation that normally had a working color, but I think no action has been against the law. It was not a private conversation, but it was a work conversation”, Beqaj said. /Gazzeta Blic/
