Behgjet Pacolli praises Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq

Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli has not spared the good words when speaking of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's policy concerning Kosovo, referring to his recent statements in Serbia that citizens there should be prepared that Kosovo cannot be won as it has been thought so far.

E Pacolli has told Radio Free Europe at the end of the first day of his visit to Brussels that he would be the happiest man if a final agreement is reached between Kosovo and Serbia.

I'm optimistic about an agreement because Mr. Vuchic opened up many opportunities and should use every good thing to get and analyze and work at these possibilities”, Pacolli said.

He later said that the “alone can reconcile the two countries” as he indicated that “ai would be the happiest man if one day these two countries calmed down”, Pacolli quoted him as saying according to Radio Free Europe in the Bosnian language.

Pacolli met with European deputies and senior European officials during the day. On Friday Pacolli will meet with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Frederica Mogherini.
