42 people were killed by the earthquake that hit central Mexico, exactly in Morelos.
The capital's airport has suspended all operations after the 7.1-degree Richher earthquake and buildings in Mexico City have been evacuated.
In some buildings it was reported on fire, claiming that some people were trapped inside.
Earlier this month, an earthquake of 8.1 magnitudes of Richter left at least 90 dead.
The quake's episode was near Atentingo in the state of Puebla, about 120km from Mexico City, with a depth of 51km.
The quake occurred when an earthquake exercise was held in Mexico City on the 32nd anniversary of an earthquake that killed up to 10,000 people.
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto through a Twitter post begged people to avoid roads, so emergency services can easily reach the most hit areas.
US President Donald Trump also expressed condolences for the tragedy in Mexico.
God bless Mexico City's people, we're with you and we'll be there for you”
