Director of Prisons for KALLXO.com relates the moment of attack by baseball sticks on the morning of August 16th.
“Zaconally, I go to work at 7:00 a.m. When I left the apartment, at the end of the stairs, at the entrance, two people came out, and I was literally held by my hand and put in the darkness of a flat on the first floor. Right away, they started hitting me with sticks”, Zogaj said, adding that he couldn't identify myself, “but I saw two crooked faces”.
Zogaj said the attack has lasted about 30 to 40 seconds and that the attackers were not disguised for what he could not identify. But, he adds, the names of two of the suspects have been encountered in correctional centres.
He is convinced that the attack on him had nothing to do with his private life, but with his position as director general of Kosovo Prisons.
