Zaev: Waiting for New Ideas on Name Issue

Prime Minister Zaev from Durres expressed his expectations that by the end of the year the foreign mediator on the issue with Greece, Matthew Nimic, will bring new proposals. Zaev added that he expects this issue to be resolved with dialogue between the two countries.

All Western Balkan countries that are present here with the eurokomar Han and the World Bank, I personally think they have a positive attitude towards Macedonia and have the will to help Macedonia on every issue as we want to help all of us. I remain pending that the problem will be solved with dialogue led by the United Nations, by Matthew Nimic.

I expect that by the end of this year and early next year there will be new ideas from Nimic for resolving this issue, but I am convinced that the positive environment exists in the region and Macedonia's positive relationship with all these countries, as well as with Greece, will be the starting point for resolving this sensitive issue -- Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said.
