North Korean state media quoted General Kim Rak Gyom on Wednesday, under which the Phenian is “ready to undertake” a military action targeting the American territory Guam in the western Pacific, where a considerable amount of US air and sea forces were deployed.

Kim, who commands the Korean People's Army Strategic Force, said the North will finalise a plan by mid-August to launch four medium-range missiles known as the Hasang-12 towards the island. According to him, after crossing Japan, the missiles would fall to waters of 30 to 40 miles [30 to 40 km] off the coast of Guam Island.

The plan, unusual in terms of details it sets forth, according to the general will pass over North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and await his order.

General Kim's statement was another step in the rhetoric between jinn and Washington, which has the potential to lead to deadly clashes.

Yesterday, US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis made a severe threat to North Korea, saying the regime should cease any review of actions that would “take place at the end of the regime and the destruction of the people”.

Secretary Mattis said that any action by North Korea would receive a multiple larger answer from the US, and that genus would lose any competition or conflict that he would begin. The defence secretary said that although the US is seeking a diplomatic solution, the combined military power of America and its allies is the largest in the world.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump said the US nuclear arsenal “is much stronger and more powerful than ever before”. He made the comments while his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson tried to ease the crisis over North Korea.

In a series of comments at Titter early Wednesday morning, President Trump noted the power of the American nuclear arsenal.

He also reaffirmed his threat made the day before, re-publishing the video, warning that Peniani will face <x0 euros in fire and fury that the world has never seen before,” if he makes threats to the US again.

Mr. Trump wrote that the first issue of his agenda as president was “innovation and modernisation” of the American nuclear arsenal.

Meanwhile, State Secretary Rex Tillerson said he does not believe that there is any immediate danger from North Korea for the Pacific island of Guam, despite Phenian claims that he is looking into plans for “to create a fire ring” around this island, part of the American municipality.

Mr. Tillerson spoke to reporters during his flight to Guam on Wednesday, after a hot rhetoric day between Washington and Penian. The State Secretary stayed on the island for a fuel supply after a visit to Asia.

I think the president is sending a strong message to North Korea in the language Kim Jong Un, who does not seem to understand diplomatic language”, said Mr. Tillerson.

In a statement issued early Wednesday, the North Korean State News Agency said the armed forces are carefully considering “a missile attack plan in Guam. The U.S. military bases on the island's Pacific territory are believed to be located at the largest American nuclear arsenal outside continental America.

The developments followed a day loaded with harsh rhetoric between Washington and Pyongyang. US President Donald Trump made a stern warning to North Korea, stressing that if she continues to threaten the United States “will face such fire and fury that the world has never seen. ”

I think the president simply wanted to be clear to the North Korean regime that the US has unequivocal ability to defend itself, that the US would protect itself and allies. I think it was important that he convey this message to avoid any miscalculations on their part,” said Mr. Tillerson.

GU AM, ZYRTARES BANORIAN SIGNMENT

Officials elected in Guam are ensuring residents that the United States territory is safe, following North Korea's claims that it is reviewing its plan for “rocket attacks” on the important strategic Pacific island.

A North Korean Army spokesman was quoted as saying that the attack plan “will be implemented multiple and continuous at any given moment”, once the order by Kim Jong Un is given.

Guam Governor Eddie Calvo said a televised speech that there is no threat to the island, but stressed that “ai is prepared for any possibility”.

He said “Guam is American soil... not just a military base” and that it was secured by the White House that an attack on Guam would be considered an attack on the United States.

Madeline Bordallo, the convention's elected delegate to Guam, also expressed confidence in the United States' ability to protect the island after the disturbing “-second threats of North Korea, but urged President Donald Trump to work with the international community to ease tensions.

PRESIDENT DEATH TRUMP

President Trump told reporters on Tuesday that North Korea's leader has been behaving threateningly since the United States strengthened sanctions on the isolated communist state and secured a unilateral vote at the UN Security Council to condemn gergin.

Speaking at his golf club in New Jersey, President Trump reiterated the warning that Kim is jeopardising his poor country to face <x0) a fire and fury, sincerely with a power this world has never seen before.

The president made his comments in response to a report by the newspaper “NBC News, which said that American intelligence officials estimate that North Korea has successfully produced a small - scale nuclear warheads that can be assembled on its missiles.

If true, this implies that North Korea has passed an important threshold on its way to becoming a full nuclear power.

The media, citing unidentified American intelligence officials, say the analysis, which reaches such a conclusion, was conducted last month by the Defence Intelligence Agency.

Agency officials declined to comment. Even the National Intelligence Director's office has not commented.

Meanwhile, Japan's defence ministry praised in a report Tuesday that it is possible that North Korea has achieved mini-tourisation of nuclear weapons and produced nuclear warheads.

President Donald Trump and his ambassador to the United Nations say the new sanctions against North Korea are necessary to stop this country's nuclear programme.

In a comment in Titeter, Mr. Trump wrote today that: “after many years of failure, countries have come together to eventually respond to the dangers posed by North Korea. We must be harsh and decisive,” wrote the American president.

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said during an interview with the NBC network that it is not sure whether sanctions will function. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has expressed no interest in leaving the nuclear and ballistic programme, and the country has survived sanctions imposed in the past.

But Ambassador Haley says the sanctions force Kim Jung Uni to review his “strategy and decide, asking himself, if it hits the United States, do you think it will win? /Vosa
