At least 1,000 acres [1,000 ha] of forest surface has been swept by flames in Voscope.

Fortunately, the fire that began on Sunday has disappeared, while the damage caused is reported to be enormous. The mainly pine forest, but also low vegetation has been damaged in much of its population by approaching the tourist village, but the intervention of fire forces, army, police and local residents has made it possible to avoid a catastrophe for Voskopoja.
