At least 50 subjects fighting hotel objects or restaurants have been fined by the State Technical and Industrial Inspectorate during routine checks exercised in July.
Data published by this inspectors shows that fines imposed range from $500,000 to $1 million. The reason for setting these fines is linked to a small part of the lack of intercurrent documentation that most have to do with disapproval of the liquid gas reservoir technology project.
Almost most subjects have chosen gas use as a variant especially in the kitchen, which results at a lower cost than the use of electricity, but to install this system must be obtained initial approval.
Past businesses in check belong to the entire coastline from Konispoli, Borschi, Himara, the Golem Dereme in the meantime that exception does not even make restaurants and hotels in Llogara, where at least seven fined subjects are counted.
The total of fines imposed amounts to 10.7 million dollars and is the highest I fines I imposed throughout the months of this year. This comes from the conditions when May and June had a modest number of 4 and 11 fines, but were placed mainly on gas stations.
Control along the entire coast in July appears to have been part of the Inspectorate's measures even under the summer tourist season, requiring increased security and proper implementation of gas systems installations.
On July 28th in Velipoja, the latest incident occurred when in a subject exercising bar-restorant activity, there was an explosion of an installed GNL reservoir outside technical conditions.
