BFI through a written report points out that because of rising temperatures, the Food and Veterinary Agency has raised the threat of possible diseases of appearance in the event of neglecting legal guidelines and regulations for slaughtering animals, as well as consuming them.
BFI suggests that under its authority it organises the cutting and distribution of the offerings to all Muslim believers who plan such a thing, even those with registered animals and pre-controld by veterinarians. From there they also appeal not to sell unregistered animals into wild animal markets.
The sale of animals in unauthorized places is prohibited by law. Selling animals without a label is legally prohibited. Therefore, believers should not buy animals that are not controlled and have no registration certificate. Also prohibited is the consumption of unmarked, self - controlled animals because it increases the risk of spreading various diseases”, the BFI points out.
From there they add that even the inexplicable slaughter and unadquacy conditions pose a threat to consumer health, so this is prohibited by law.
In accordance with the law on holidays in the Republic of Macedonia, the first day of Kurban Bajram, September 1st, is no work for Muslim believers, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) even this year realizes cutting sacrifices for needy families, while the value of the offering is 120 euros. The offering also costs 120 euros in Macedonia, while in Albania it is around 130 euros.
