(9 years ago)The performance test for Kosovo teachers is unlikely to be realised even this year. The performance assessment through a test was mentioned by incumbent Minister of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT), Arsim Bajrami. He even highlighted this on December 6, last year, the day the results of [...] were published.
But against holding the test, the Kosovo Education, Science and Culture Union has been declared (SBASHK), which had repeatedly threatened strikes in education because, according to them, such a test was derogatory to teachers.
The paper has requested information from Education, Science and Technology Ministry officials (MASHT) whether this test will be realised in the coming months, but from this the minister has confirmed that this will not happen.
