The 22-year-old lived in the small town of Ripoll in northern Barcelona, where police have arrested 3 people.
Okabir is suspected of renting his brother's documents to the van used for the attack in Barcelona and another found several hours later in the town of Vic, with which they were planning to escape.
All victims of the attack in Las Ramblas were tourists, including two Italians, an American, a Canadian, a Spanish, and a Portuguese.
