Serbian negotiating team officials for dialogue with the Kosovo side in Brussels have said Kosovo is not the subject of chapter 35 for Serbia's membership in the European Union.
This team's chief Tanja Mischevic has told Serbian media that Serbia on the road to EU membership does not negotiate for Kosovo's status.
However, it says the ultimate goal of chapter 35 is the comprehensive normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
