Renowned analyst says Thaci is using dialogue to save himself

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is using dialogue with Serbia for his individual purposes.

So it has been considered politicalist Belul Beqaj, who by commenting on Thaci's initiative to establish an inclusive team for dialogue, has said the president is not using dialogue in any way for normalisation of reports between the two states.

On the contrary, during a conversation for “Zrin”, he has considered that dialogue is not worth continuing, while Kosovo still does not have its own institutions, and that while many agreements are yet without implementation.

Beqaj far, has considered that the rush to change the format of dialogue is being made for yet another goal on Serbia's part, to create the Association of Serb Majorities soon.

The process of needed dialogue, but the way of negotiation leaves to wish

University professor Belul Beqaj has estimated that the political context in Kosovo is not prepared to continue dialogue with Serbia.

Even according to him, political taxes currently have very different approaches in terms of Kosovo-Serbia talks. Besides Thaci's interest, according to the professor, the rush over the issue is being made to form the Serbian Communist Association.

“While the position and opposition have different reports concerning negotiations with Serbia. The tide is being made because of Mr. Thaci and Serbia, separately for implementation of the AKS. The main problem is that normalisation of reports between the political leaders of Serbia and Kosovo is deliberately misunderstood by European bureaucratics as normalising reports between Albanians and Serbs, while the real situation -- according to numerous surveys and research -- has added Beqaj.

Professor Belul Beqaj further, has considered that continuing negotiations with Serbia should happen, but the way such a thing is being accomplished is no longer appropriate.

“The process of dialogue and European integration is needed, but the way and actions of negotiating with the mediation of failed European bureaucratic Democrats leave much to be desired. The impression that these bureaucratics, led by Moghrin, have failed in all major domestic and external areas (refugees, terrorisation) and are making efforts to bring Kosovo's dialogue with Serbia as their greatest success. But the facts speak differently”, he underlined during the conversation.

Continued dialogue makes sense, as many agreements have been implemented

However, it has considered that dialogue cannot continue as long as Kosovo has not created its institutions.

“S first, Serbia's Foreign Affairs Minister, in his recent address to the UN, stressed that dialogue has failed. Second, how is it possible to continue dialogue until legislative and executive institutions have been created? Third, why negotiations are being raised at the presidential level until Kosovo's president is under the mortgage of the war crimes suspect, precisely by European institution rapporteur”, he has stressed.

Beqaj further, has estimated that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should continue only as partners with equal status and interests. Meanwhile, it has considered that its actual continuation makes no sense, since many important agreements have not been implemented. /Sound/
