Rain saves Macedonia from fires

Rainfall has given them many fires that were active in Macedonia. Including the fire in Kondovo that spread rapidly in the late hours.

From the Crisis Management Centre reports that fire on the village of Kondovo had been located several days earlier, while yesterday it was activated again. However, the powerful wind affected the spread of the fire by destroying several acres of pine forest. But the wind that appeared in the late hours caused a complementary problem and came to the spread of the fire, but immediately teams were sent to intervene”, Nadica Vckova, from QPC, said. QPC claims that to extinguish the fire were operating with 4 tankers, 25 firemen, nine firemen's cars, four cars with 20 people from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue and 50 people from the local community, but that machine has been insufficient to extinguish the fire.
