Brahim Mulkani has been a member of security on Kosovo railways for 33 years, and says this year seems to be the most difficult one for him for all these years.
Brahimi has been concerned by Train Cos's decision to cut trains off on Pristina-Peje lines and Elez's Hani, KTV reports.
This is because with the intermission of these lines, except that citizens who travel by train have a bad time, many workers are in danger of becoming unemployed.
Fears that another 700 workers will be out of work, the Trade Cos Workers' Union has led them to protest.
They, this Wednesday, in protest, have interrupted for about an hour the only line of travelers, which currently works, the Pristina- Skopje and vice versa.
Last week, the company “Train Cos” decided to cut off travel lines, for budgetary reasons where, for the situation, this company has held the Ministry of Infrastructure responsible.
But through a written response, officials from the Ministry of Infrastructure have said the budget worth more than 1m euros has been earmarked for the whole of 2017.
“As a result of all of this, we can conclude that budget cuts are the key factor detecting the share of obligations in relation to the issue raised”, officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure have said among other things, through a written answer.
