The Kosovo Clinical Centre has announced that there is an urgent need for at least 100 nurses.
At the USKKUK director's meeting, Curr Gjocaj with the directors of clinics and institutes, a request for the need for a number of nurses has been submitted.
UNKKUK Director General Dr. Curr Jocaj, today, has held a working meeting with CKUK clinic directors, institutes and services. He has announced the directors regarding the recent competition for the admission of unemployed specialists, asking the clinic directors to make their own arrangements according to the need for different departments at the QKUK”, the centre is said to have announced.
Responding to clinic concerns about the lack of nurses, Gjacaj explained that the urgent needs are for 100 nurses/e, needs according to requirements 200, 300 according to required standards, totaling 600 nurses/e, but this, according to him, cannot be due to budgetary restrictions, even though SKKUK has forwarded requests to all competent ministries and other decision-making instances.
“Linked to medical equipment, the general director announced that more than 50m euros are in expectation of implementation for KKUK alone, 65m for the entire SHKKKUK, including the General Hospital. He announced that next month an international mission team will come to make the feasibility of needs and to see the equipment situation closely. Meanwhile, through various donors or loans expected to find the MSH, and the government is expected to secure them in the coming years”, it is said further.
At the meeting, she was asked by clinics to be very efficient in professional consultations and other professional works that are required by health institutions.
All work commands and internal regulations were requested to increase discipline and efficiency at work.
Director Gjacaj, announced that soon it is expected to become the digitalisation of the access to clinics, as well as the inflows, where this will help monitor working hours.
Oncology clinic director requested that 24-hour functionalisation be seen at the Oncology Institute.
In response to his request, Director Gjacaj explained that it is in favour of this request, but in the absence of middle staff at the moment, that cannot happen, even though medical staff experts have this clinic at the disco.
The director of the Anesthesia Clinic and Infectious Clinic expresses concern that many cases after deteriorating health are brought from private clinics at QKUU without even compensation for clinics, even though work is done professionally.
Emergency Clinic Director asked to form working groups and plan the necessary staff and equipment is diagnosed for the new emergency facility, which is being polluted.
The meeting was also noted for new projects that are in the process of realisation, such as the new object of Orthopedic and the Court's decision regarding the equivalent of specialisations, which Director Gjocaj said he wrote to the Ministry of Health.
Many other issues involving professional and management work of QKUK clinics, institutes and services were discussed at the meeting.
