Qatar has announced the new visa programme in this country, which will allow citizens from 80 countries of the world to travel without visas towards this country.
This decision is aimed at boosting tourism, after two months this country is facing the boycott of neighbouring Arab countries.
Citizens from Europe and other countries, including Libya, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States, will be able to visit Qatar without visa requirements. The new visa system will make Qatar -- the most open place in the region” -- has said Tourism Authority in Qatar chief Hassan al-Ibrahim, during a media conference in Doha.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the United Emirates have severed relations with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorism and close ties with Iran.
Qatar denies these accusations.
Since the beginning of the dispute, Qatar has called for the construction of diplomatic relations with countries outside the Arab Gulf.
