In the PDK branch in the Shtime, divisions have started inland among officials of this party, reportedly the cause of the failure of reforms, which, as a consequence of this deputy chairman and a member of leadership, have resigned from party positions.
The deputy chairman of this branch, Fatmir Rashi, has explained the reasons for his resignation from party positions, as he has said of blocking reforms within the party by Chairman Naim Ismajli.
He has accused the current chairman of the Entrance of creating a monopoly within this branch by blocking new appointments that would bring results in the upcoming local elections.
“From the 6th of this month I have resigned irrevocable from the post of member of the PDK's Headship, as well as from the post of deputy head of the Black Community. I took this step not easy for me because with a group of friends inside The PDK years ago tried to make positive and democratic changes, but current Shtime Chairman Naim Ismajli, with several members of the PDK branch in the venture, decided that local elections would continue with accounting already exceeded and again on his fourth consecutive candidacy. Based on the results of the last elections, it was a good alarm to make radical reforms to move safely with the next victory, while me and some members of the leadership were deeply interested in making real reforms for possible candidacy for municipal chairman”, Rashit said.
He has explained that he has given up any candidacy to pave the way for a consensual candidate who, according to him, is Fehmi Mujota, with whom he believes this branch will win local elections in this municipality.
Meanwhile, the retired member of the PDK leadership at this branch, Lulzim Sahiti, has told Indesksonline that he has resigned unrevocable because there has been no consensus within the party for the presidential candidate.
“I have resigned unrevocable from party functions. We can't find common consensus with the presidential candidate, and we've been proposing reforms within the party but that they're simply blocked”, Sahiti said February.
