Political parties are preparing intensively for the October 22nd local elections. Representatives of political subjects have said they are ready for the election race to gain the citizens' trust to lead the municipalities.
Some of the political parties say they have already appointed candidates for mayors, while representatives of almost all political subjects are continuing intensive activities on the ground.
While the third week of August marks the end of the deadline political parties have to pay fines pronounced during the campaign for early parliamentary elections. The failure to pay these fines jeopardises the failure of political parties for local elections.
The total amount of fines totals 348,900 euros, meanwhile, PZAP officials report that only 11,000 euros have been paid so far by the PAN coalition. On the other side The CEC says ready for the 22 October local elections.
