Tuesday's terrorist bombings in Brussels marked the third largest terror attack in Europe in 15 months. The prestigious Time magazine has tried to explain why Europe has already become the target of Islamic terrorism.

The cycle of violence in Brussels began in May 2014, when several French fighters linked to I SIS opened fire at the Jewish Museum of Brussels and killed three people. This attack was followed by him at Charlie Hebdo in Paris, an attack on a forum for free speech in Denmark, attacks in Paris at Bataclan and Stade de France, and finally Tuesday's terrorist attacks in Brussels.

Throughout Europe, more than 185 people have been killed, but the population of more than 500 million people in the European Union has been terrorised. As I SIS claimed responsibility for Tuesday's bombings, some of the previous attacks believed to be inspired by I SIS, what makes them no less sad. I The SIS has undertaken or inspired about 57 terrorist attacks in 20 countries outside Syria and Iraq. I The SIS has become global, no longer operating alone in its territory but also targeting foreigners abroad. As I The SIS is losing territory in the Middle East (losing 22 per cent of the territory occupied in Iraq and Syria since January 2015, 8 %s in the last three months alone), the world has to tighten its ranks for an increase of desperate jihadist groups at every step.

At a time when the targets hit by I SIS seems random, it cannot be said of the cities they have chosen. From 2012 to 2015, more than 400 people have left Belgium to join I The SIS É in its territory controlled by Iraq and Syria, making Belgjika the capital of the European Union for foreign jihadists, in relation to the population. In absolute terms, this title could go to France; in the same period about 1 200 people have fled from France to Iraq and Syria to join the jihad.

It is no coincidence that these two countries are a suitable ground for Islamic terrorism. Both have some of the most radicalised and isolated Muslim neighbourhoods on the continent; Molembek in Brussels and Perferina in Paris.

When these foreign jihadists return to their homes, Belgian authorities estimate that 117 have left the Middle East and have returned to Belgium, they often have connections with friends and associates who house them to hide from the police. When Salah Abdelam, the only survivor of the 10-person team responsible for the November terrorist attacks in Paris, was arrested last week, he proved to have been hiding for four months in Molenbek.

ISIS has not only found a fertile place for recruiting among some of Europe's most disappointed, but the group is also benefiting from the geopolitical situation in Syria, which helped create itself. The only event in Europe in the past 18 months has been the refugee crisis, as millions pour into the continent, leaving the Middle East wars. In 2015, more than 1.1 million immigrants entered Europe; there is a drop in 2016 by 135 thousand who have arrived on the sea.

In the refugee crisis, I The SIS has had a golden opportunity to push ahead his story about a civilist war between Islam and the West and jump from European leaders have played directly into the hands of the terrorist group. When the prime ministers of Poland and Bulgaria said that they were willing to accept only Christian refugees, they gave him food I To gather more zealous people about his cause. One of Stade de France's suicide bombers had a fake Syrian passport, such as to promote this kind of story. Circle I The SIS wants Europeans to confuse refugees with terrorists and are making ends meet.

It's still too early to say how efficient I was The SIS has used Europe's response to Muslim refugees as a recruiting tool, but this has been quite successful enough to disrupt Europe's political unity. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Europe's de facto leader, is at its lowest political point, even after orchestrating an agreement with Turkey to continue housing Syrian refugees outside the European Union. The agreement, dedicated to lifting visas for Turkish citizens across Europe, is now hard to implement. Following Tuesday's attacks in Brussels, Europeans will be more afraid to leave another 76 billion people from a predominantly Muslim country to travel free across Europe.

The heart of the European project has always been the Schengen Agreement, which offers for free movement of people, goods and services across 26 European countries. And as some countries began to build their walls during the summer in an effort to stem the influx of refugees, the issue took a serious turn with the November terrorist attacks in Paris and the European Union's decision to establish border controls. Immediately, the deployment of border controls was seen, not as a movement to curb immigration flow, but as a survival issue. This is bad news for the most ambitious political project of the past century.

Cannoute referenda, this political project will still have to face its biggest test: the United Kingdom referendum to leave the EU or not. The spectre of a country that voluntarily leaves the EU é, especially of an important country like Great Britain, will question the future of the union. Currently, 53 per cent of French and more than 45 per cent of Germans, Spaniards and Swedes want to follow Britain's example, with a referendum on future in the EU. Imagine what would happen if there was a terrorist attack on the United Kingdom before the referendum. I Leaders SIS have every incentive to destabilise the continent further and will have many opportunities to achieve it. That makes Europe a top target for I The SIS progress.

Tears, candles and flowers. This is Brussels today, mourning for terrorist victims, of attacks that rocked the European chief centre on 22 March.

The European Union headquarters in Brussels, in honour of the terror victims of Tuesday, decided to open the doors to all citizens.

A minute's silence at the opening of the EU doors, and then it's continued to look up to the victims, a considerable portion of them, even after 24 hours, unidentified.

Homazhe also took place at the main centre of Brussels, a significant point where people honored the memory of the victims of terrorist attacks called in just one day.

A minute of silence and horrors did not miss even at Brussels Airport, which was the first terrorist target to launch the planned attacks on March 22nd. Four of Brussels' terrorist attacks are in less than two hours, leaving 31 dead and over 250 injured.
