Some kind natural activists are cleaning up the lake shore.

The problems here are huge, but at least they're trying to get rid of what's obvious. The lake looks like a swamp. In the Shiroca area, water levels have a historic decline.

Such a sight has been unseen for years. Fishermen's boats are not abundant on the shore.

Walks for its coolness are missing. Cures and visitors believe that it is a sin.

Just six meters above sea level with an area of 368 km2. 149 km2 of them with a 57km-long coastline belong to the Republic of Albania; and 2/3 of it belongs to Montenegro.
The Lake Shkodra is known for its variety and wealth of 45 species of fish and 270 species of birds.
But this drought threatens to disappear. /Tvklan
