Kosovo police arrest eleven people suspected of unauthorised crossing of border line
Pristina, August 08th 2017
Kosovo police, in this case border officials on the date 08.08.2017 around 13:00, via operational-ethimore routes have provided information that in the neighbourhood called Sekiraqa in the village of Metergof of Podujevo, some Serbian and Russian citizens are expected to enter illegally.
Border police have undertaken the necessary police measures by employing border patrol teams, which as a result of working around 13:45 at the supposed location, exactly at KFOR warning sign that shows the proximity of the border, have banned two suspected vehicles with Serbia's license plates.
During the search of two “Mercedes” white nation, a total of eleven (11) suspected of unauthorized crossing of the state border.

Suspected persons along with vehicles have been sent to the Border Police station for interview and further proceedings, according to previous legal procedures.
In the case, the state-guard prosecutor, the Kosovo attorneys' oda and the Russian liaison office in the Republic of Kosovo have been announced.
