KMLDNJ: Leave heavy words, implement mandate given by voter

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms (KMDLNJ) has estimated that politicians as a tool for achieving political goals are using a dictionary of offensive extremes, not saving even families or family members who have nothing to do with political developments.

KMDLNJ has asked political representatives to leave grave insulting words, but implement the mandate given by the voter.

“Politicians, as a tool for achieving political goals, are using an extremely insulting vocabulary, not saving even families or family members who have nothing to do with political developments. The insults are on ethnic, gender, but also racist grounds when someone is attacked for having the mother of another ethnic affiliation. Or, because of his father's past, his son is accused of being a traitor. Even in the first case, but in the second instance, the requirements are for children to distance themselves from their parents, which is neither normal nor right”

These charges are being used and misused for political purposes by being used as a tool for defeating the political opponent. Striving at women who are involved in politics or who are related to politics has reached a degree of unbearable and that is in stark conflict with human, moral and traditional codices. The insults and charges are now focused on a completely different area, which would have to be the responsibility of police, prosecutor and judiciary, in that of corruption and backlogous political and ethnic killings”, the communiqué said.

The KMDLNI has further called on all political subjects to lower their weapons (poised and hate language) and implement the mandate they have won from citizenship, forming and functioning Kosovo institutions on the contrary to agree and go to new elections.

“KMDLNj called on all political subjects to attend the session invited by Mr. Miklovci and be co-operative in building institutions for the benefit of Kosovo citizens otherwise proposes that the Parliament's deputies are not compensated materially as long as the Assembly is dysfunctional”, said this communique sent to the media.
