Scholar writes in a footnote in “Facebook”, that this Communist regime camp has largely persecuted Albanians from the southern country and members of the Greek minority. Children were also exiled, the historian relates.

Brown - wire camp No.3 (finally, Valias, Cyril, and Tirana, in 1948 / 1953

One of the most unknown thorn - wire camps is the one known as 3 and then the 5. This camp has largely persecuted Albanians from the southern country and members of the Greek minority. The camp opened in 1948 near the farm “Youll Red” in Valias in tents and stables, old houses. This is where they are kept for forced labor exiled and imprisoned. At first, the camp served as a place for the collection of “monarcho Greek fascists”, but German prisoners as well. The exiles worked in agriculture. According to the report of 13,8,1948, 89 exiles appeared at work, including children for 3 hours a day. In January, May 1950, some 200 German prisoners worked here, who failed to educate the “regime politically”.

According to 1950 data in Valias, it was this annual dynamic of exiles:

In 1952 the camp moves to Cyril. In the documents we have inherited (August 1952) of the expulsion commission, decisions begin to appear on deportations to “the camera at Cerrick”. The camp worked until the end of 1952. Here they worked on the construction of the oil plant.
The exiles have been displaced and camped in Tirana (the brick shell), which received the number 3. The brick factory also brought fat exiles in Tepelene. Work here was on shifts, each shift was meant to produce 20,000 bricks to build many palaces in Tirana. After Cherrick's camp is closed, Number 3 takes Camp Kamza. But he did not keep the number for more than a few months. After the prison camp 5 (later Unit 305) received the number 3, Kamuz camp finally received the number 5. It was closed in 1953 with the closing of the thorn - wire camps.
