The imam's brother accused of terrorism challenges BIK's sacrificial price

Ernes Goga has said his actions are legal. He has said he does not work against the Islamic Community of Kosovo.

The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) announced today that the organisation will slaughter the offerings for the Kurban Bajrami holiday. BIK placed a price of 120 euros on each slaughtered offering.

But a person in Pec is competing with BIK with slaughtering the offerings. He is Ernes Goga, brother of Peja's chief imam, Enes, who has an indictment set up for criminal work “to incite hatred, division, or national, racial, religious or ethnic failure”.

By public announcements that Ernes Goga has made in some places in Pec through established banners, he has announced that he makes the slaughter of offerings for the Kurban Bajrami holiday. But the price at which he will make the slaughter of the offerings is much lower than the price set by the official institution of the Muslim community in Kosovo, BIK.

In contrast to the BIK, which will offer the offerings for 120 euros, Goga has set a price of 85 euros, reports Online Insander newspaper. The Cuban “includes slaughtering and distributing the meat”, written on the warning banner imposed by Goga, in Pec.

In a proposal for Insider, Ernes Goga said his actions are legal. He has said he does not work against the Islamic Community of Kosovo.

I'm not an official BIK worker, but I don't work against it. BIK. No one is competing with BIK”, Goga said, until he added that there is a will by different people to prevent his work.

The brother of Peja's chief imam has declared that people's claims that he is competing with BIK are manipulations.

I don't do anyone's competition, but someone's willing to be fixulating; I rather want to contribute to the state of the Islamic Community”, Goga declared, for Insideer.

Ernes Goga's brother, imam from Peja, Enesi, is accused of committing a criminal act of inciting hatred, division, or national, racial, religious, or ethnic resistance.
