Public hospitals are in crisis for medicine. If the supply does not improve the following days, there is a danger that many services will be closed down.
In some hospitals there is no emergency therapy that can save lives. A serious lack of medicine is also available to patients diagnosed with cancer, writes Koha Ditore today.
Such severe lack of supply in the public health system that would endanger functioning has not occurred for nearly two years.
That, according to QKUK sources, has happened because of the Ministry of Health's non-coordination and because of the budget failure by the Kosovo Assembly.
MSH early in the year has promised that with budget revision, the supply budget will increase.
