Hitler was vegetarian, which is said to have remained more of the ideological reasons, and all he has eaten has been far more pure potatoes and plain soup.
He had a feeding test team. The team consisted of 15 people, and before Hitler ate a meal, they had to eat it first, and if neither of the testers died after 45 minutes, then the food was considered OK to eat.
