In an interview for RTV Dukagjini, Haradinaj has talked about post-war Kosovo and about bringing KLA members.
Haradinaj has commented on whether KLA soldiers have committed crimes. In this regard, he has said that there may have been concessions and mistakes.
Below, find some of Haradinaj's words:
Soldiers were all citizens before I became soldiers. Ordinary people, with ordinary jobs, ordinary lives. A year of war has taken a toll on trauma, people train them for years, and after six miles of war, they turn them into psychologists and force them into interviews with others and see if they are able to continue their normal life.
I regret that Kosovo has not been the most functional state to be given to soldiers, not to remain.
The post-war crimes should be known by courts, I don't know that soldiers committed crimes after the war.
Any mistake might happen, but what could we do in Decani, Peja and Gjakova, completely burned?
Don't hurt the KLA, because you're free because of it and if you offend it you may lose your freedom.
