A year ago, just 10 August, the Kosovo Assembly Chiefship, has decided on September 1st to submit the demarcation agreement with Montenegro for ratification to parliament.

This decision has been made in the continuation of the meeting, after the meeting was first interrupted by Glauk Konjufca, chief of the Vetvendosje Movement parliamentary group, which was present at the meeting, threw tear gas.

This Assembly of the Parliament's Headship has been held without media presence because journalists left the meeting room.

The Ruling Coalition The PDK-LDK failed to secure votes for ratification of the Demarketing Agreement with Montenegro, however this agreement has been nearly two years since it was signed 26 August 2015).

In a year after this signing, despite criticism from the opposition, the draft Demarketing Bill with Montenegro was adopted by the Government of Kosovo.

And after the chairmanship decided to go to the session on September 1st, but as soon as the first executive session began, Isa Mustafa decided to withdraw it from the agenda, since the Serbian List was not in the Parliament, while abroad protested under opposition organisation.

But, despite this “conviction” said several times that the demarcation will be re-proceded in the Assembly, this is not happening.

This is because the ruling coalition is failing to ensure sufficient numbers to ratify it.

On the other hand, government officials themselves say the demarcation will go to the Parliament when there is a signal for security of the vote.
