The German customs service announced they have found and destroyed 20 snake heads in a package that was sent from Nigeria, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).
The customs office's spokeswoman in Munich, Marie Mueller, said on Wednesday that police discovered the heads of snakes when three-pound packages of weighing were scanned last week.
She added that when police officials opened the package, there was an unbearable smell of rotten snake heads, stressing that the heads were immediately burned to prevent the possibility of spreading diseases.
Finally, she said that so far, they have encountered packages from western Africa that contained snake heads.
