A family trip into nature has turned into tragedy after a father and mother lost their lives falling off a high cliff, while their four-year-old son was severely hurt, authorities in New York report.
Amanda Green, 35-year-old, and William Green, 33-year-old, both of Buffalo, were found together with their son Alexander in an abyss in Zoar Valley, shortly after 1: 00 a.m., the sheriff of Erie County, Timonthy Howard, broadcast Express.
Rescue teams have found the couple's son, Jacob, 7-year-old, walking nearby.
The four-year-old has been sent to the Buffalos hospital, and is in serious condition. His brother has also been sent to the hospital to check on life - threatening injuries, writes Express.
Authorities believe that the couple and the child are heavy from a 60m - high rock but are not known what has caused it.
Police investigation is continuing.
