A Chinese restaurant has found itself in the grip of criticism after offering a price cut to women depending on the size of their breasts
According to Qiannjiang Evening Post, local residents complained to local authorities after seeing the post office at the Trendy Shrip restaurant in a shopping centre in Hangzhou, the main city of the coastal province of Zejiang, broadcasts Kosovo Clan.
There's a couple of girls in the poster with different chest sizes, and with the slogan “the whole city is looking for breasts”
Best offers are for girls with big breasts. Locals named it vulgar and discriminating advertising against women.
The starting posts were decided on August 1st, but were later removed.
The general manager of the restaurant, Lan Shengang, defended their sales strategy.
Once the promotion started, the number of customers increased by around 20% he said, adding “the many girls we met were very proud and had nothing to hide”
He assured readers that customers can request their discounts from waitresses instead of dealing with male staff so that “can avoid embarrassment”.
It's not the first time a restaurant in China has been offering a discount. In January 2015 a restaurant in Chongqing gave food at a discount for overweight men and weak women, writes Ora, broadcasts Kosovo Clan.
