The number of asylum applications from Albanians in EU countries in 2016 reached 43,265 requirements, but only 3.17% of them have been accepted. For every 32 requests submitted by Albanians to EU immigration offices, only 1 is accepted.

The country that has the highest rates of asylum requests accepted by Albanians is Italy, where in 225 applications during 2016 100 have been accepted, while Germany's lowest, which although it has received 32 thousand and 100 requests, has accepted only 170. Italy for 2016 has accepted only 39% of total asylum applications.

According to Eurostat data, the number of asylum applications in Italy has been much lower than in Germany. For every 150 asylum applications in Germany, a request was made in Italy.

But the possibility of the application being accepted in Germany is very low. In every 190 applications, only one has received requests.

After Italy, the highest admission of asylum applications holds England, where 235 or 21.5 percent of total applications have been accepted in 1090. The third in the ranking for accepted demands is France, which is also the second place with the highest number of Albanian asylum seekers. Of 5,330 asylum applications have been accepted 750, or about 14 percent of the total.

They then rank Austria (3.5% of the accepted requirements), Sweden (3.41%) and Ireland (2.9%).

Request for asylum in Europe

In every five persons seeking asylum in Europe, three are required, according to data on the first answers to asylum requirements. Germany has had the highest number of requirements, approximately 607 thousand, of which 68% have been accepted.
