UN calls for response against Iran after launching missile

The United States and three of its allies, France, Germany and Great Britain, have called on the United Nations Organisation to send back “to Iran”, in response to the latest launching of the missile with the capacity to carry satellites.

European powers have named a step such as the destabilising “in the region”.

US Ambassador Nikki Haley, in a letter to the UN Security Council, has said launching “represents a threat and provocative step of Iran”.

In her letter written on behalf of the US, France, Germany and Great Britain, the Security Council “is urged to discuss appropriate answers” against Tehran's <x2-> provocative sanctions”.

The letter says the launch has not been in line with the UN resolution, which is based on the signed 2015 agreement with six world powers, including the US, under which the parties agreed to limit nuclear and ballistic missile programmes in exchange for easing sanctions.

But the new Russian ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, disagreed with these statements.

He has told reporters on August 2nd that Russia does not consider Iran's latest launch missile as a violation of the nuclear agreement, T has reported. ASS.

On July 27th, Iran launched its most advanced rocket, “Simory”, with satellite transport capacity.

The letter from Haley was launched the same day the president, Donald Trump, signed the sanctions legislation against Iran, Russia and North Korea.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Aracchi has named the sanctions as US attempts to sabotage the nuclear agreement.
