Ambassador of Great Britain to the United Nations Matthew Rycroft has supported US and Kosovo's request that the UN mission in Kosovo gradually put an end to its work, saying the increased budget UNMIK does not respond to the situation on the ground.
He said there is no need for three-month reports in New York, as political dialogue is held in Brussels, during a regular UN session for the three-month situation report.
Reducing the United Nations engagement in Kosovo has also been supported by representatives of France and Japan.
