The Food and Veterinary Agency has abolished the decision to close animal markets in all Kosovo municipalities, which has been taken as a preventative measure to prevent the spread of the Skin Disease to animals of the species.
The AUV has indicated that it has made this decision to reopen markets and lift the measure of ban on moving that animals have not had any cases of animals affected this year.
Based on the data, according to statistics, which result in no reported case, where the vaccination measure has done the right effect, the AUV's Health and Animal Management Directorate has recommended that market opening and functioning be allowed.
The AUV Chief Executive Chief on the basis of this recommendation has issued a decision on the immediate abolishing of the pre-responsive points under which the opening and functioning of animal markets throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo are allowed.
This is to enable you at the same time all farmers and citizens free trade in animals during the time of the Kurban Bajrami holiday.
