Analyst: We're heading towards new elections.

MPs from the Kosovo Assembly for the sixth time in a row failed to elect the Speaker of the Assembly and the five deputy speakers. Because PAN has no numbers. They need another vote to elect PDK's first one, Kadri Veselin, head of the Kosovo Assembly, even for a mandate, [...]

With insults and accusations, last night's session of the Kosovo Assembly, where the main debate took place amid the candidate for prime minister from VV) ranks, Albin Kurti of PDK chairman Kadri Wessel. But in addition to the debate, no concrete results were seen at yesterday's session towards the Parliament's institution, even three months after the elections.

Some of the analysts in the country say the main blame for all this amul is PANey, while recent developments label the country's move towards new elections.

Salad: Getting out of this situation is leading to choices

Procrastination of the election of Speaker of the Parliament and Vice Presidents has finally testified yesterday that PAN does not have votes for the election of Kadri Veselin to head of the Assembly. And in this situation, we are facing two options. That's what he said about Periscope, analyst Donic Salova.

“The developments we saw yesterday in the Kosovo Parliament finally confirmed that coalition PAN as the first subject to come out of the election does not have votes for the election of Kadri Veselin to head of the Parliament. So the block is clear and connected to Wessel's inability to become head of the Parliament. In this situation we are faced with two logical options: changing the PAN candidate and appointing another person who is more voting than Kadri Veselin and the second possible removal of PAN's right to the endless prolonging of non-proposal candidate for the Parliament through a fulfilling decision by the Constitutional Court on the election of Parliament's chairman”, Salova said.

And from all of this, Sallova says we're going to new elections.

“With prolongation, so with no proposal of candidate for head of the Assembly PAN is aiming to pressure the AKR to join the government coalition so that you have 2-3 votes with many as a government. Otherwise, the odds are if it fails. PAN, then with the president's help to announce the new elections on the exact date when local elections will be held”, Sullivan stressed.

But according to him, the crisis is not alone. PAN.

There is also the VV and LAA reports, so the exit from this situation seems to be leading to the” elections, he said.

Murati: Bring the burden of political class resentment to citizens

Procrastination of the Parliament's completion process, according to Artan Murati, senior researcher in KDI, is taking place because PAN has not officially no candidate.

“PAN is stalling the constitution's constitutionalisation process, since it has not officially no candidate for chairman of the Assembly. The right to the Owner-in-law's proposal is exclusive to the PAN, but it should also be seen as a duty to consume this right, which PAN is not doing. The PAN must first formally nominated a candidate for chairman and MPs must issue a verdict”, it has declared Periscope, Murati.

Meanwhile, the solution, according to him, could bring only a broad party consensus.

“The president should not sit back in this situation but should try to bring the political subjects” into question, he said.

Although it has not yet been decided on the election of the Speaker of the Parliament and the Vice Presidents, Murati does not see the choice, going to elections. For all these events, he says it is absurd that citizens are carrying the burden.

“If there might be a tendency by political subjects for new elections, this should not happen. Kosovo just emerged from an election process packaged by no political and very costly subject. It is absurd that citizens carry the burden of political class resentment”, he added at the end./Periscopi
