Most weddings today are being organised in the restaurant, and there is a certain “protocol” assigned to be followed.
If you are invited to a wedding, there are some things to do, but there are even more things that should not be done because it may be bad for your personal image.
Telegrafi has compiled 10 things that happened this year at some organized weddings in Kosovo, and from which you can learn something:
- Don't change your seat, but sit where the inviteers have assigned you.
- If you have someone close to you and want to be more involved in your wedding, know that it is not the place to satisfy your personal desires.
- Don't share tables on gender grounds, so it's just women at a table, and it's just another man because it's not supposed to happen in a restaurant.
- Do not criticize food because it is prepared beforehand and cannot be changed.
- Don't move the plates and the glasses from one to the other table, but when you change the table, look for the restaurant staff to get clean glass, as well as a plate.
- If the wedding is not yours, then don't get up to greet others because you can only cause confusion.
- Wedding is not the right place to discuss topics about work or similar issues, so possibly avoid them.
- Watch your diet. Try to follow certain rules regarding food, for otherwise you may make a bad impression.
- If the restaurant doesn't have Wi-Fi, then don't bother the staff asking why the restaurant doesn't have Internet. But even if there is Wi-Fi, try to use it yourself, if you really need it!
- Even if you do not know how to dance or do not like to dance, at least once in the evening go out to dance because it is a way to respect the newly married and their family!
