Prime Minister Edi Rama has wished for a good day today through Facebook posts, where he has chosen this fantastic view today on the Mangalem Bridge with Gorica in Berat.
But a commentator named Andro Ferizolli has made a request, for it shows there is a problem with changing the name that was miscounted to school and then to the law...
The boy's request:
Hello, sir. Edi Rama! I'm writing to you, Andro Ferizolli, a 14-year-old resident of Together Tiranes, municipal level No.4, and the school's senior 9-year-old sister. The reason I'm writing to you is
Because I'm actually in the Albanian Republic with the name Ender Ferizolli. Because of a mistake made in 2007 during the census. In fact, my parents understood this mistake very late, but they took it as worthless. Over the years now that I've grown up, I started to understand the truth and I felt bad, because my name figured wrong in school records, in the books of praise, in the class register, on the list of excellence, in passport and in any other official document. That made my parents insist on changing their names. Despite first seeing it as a small thing, when they realized how much this error stressed me, then they decided we'd start the procedure. But when we headed towards civil offices, employees told us that the name change law had changed since 2013. The only way was through the trial. My parents got a lawyer who took care of the necessary documentation. I was so happy that this hater name from me would get rid of me once and for all, but the name change was rejected. That made me feel even more upset than at first because I realized I couldn't do anything anymore. Now I'm talking to you. I understand very well that by your coming to power you have changed the way of changing the name, not allowing the older criminal people to change their name freely, and for that I agree very much, but I don't think that this law should penalise innocent children who just want to correct a mistake in their name. I agree that procedures will be strict and not tolerate people with problems with the state. But at least it won't be impossible to change the name.
I thank you so much for reading my letter and I would ask that measures be taken to solve my problem and hundreds of other people with the same problem.
By: Andro Ferizolli (Ender)
Mr. Edi Rama
