Researchers from Columbia University and the USC has discovered the best places to grow older.
They created a new barometer that measures how many countries around the world are adapting to dramatic growth in proportion to <x0).
The index is composed by various social and economic indicators reflecting on the welfare status of older people in one state.
That includes productivity, engagement, well-being, cohesion and security.
Norway is considered to be the best place to grow older, followed by another Scandinavian country, Sweden.
The United States of America holds third place to be followed by the Netherlands, Japan, Ireland, Denmark, and Germany.
Finland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, Estonia, Poland and Hungary are also part of the list.
