PAN has yet to discuss who will nominated for chairman of the Parliament.
Coalition The PDK-AAK-NISMA has not yet decided whom it will nominated for chairman of the Kosovo Assembly. With the political agreement reached among these subjects it is already specified that this position belongs to the Democratic Party of Kosovo, which has entrusted the prime minister's mandate and government formation to the coalition partner, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj.
Yet, it is not yet known whether the head of the tribe The PDK, Kadri Wessel, will run again to head the Assembly.
Officials from his cabinet have told him RTK through the phone that it is not certain yet whether Wessel will be the candidate for chairman of the Parliament.
According to them, this issue so far has not even been discussed in party structures.
While in view of the 2014 Constitutional Court verdict specified that the chief parliament's position belonged to the largest party or the largest coalition to emerge from elections, two other subjects -- Vetevendosje and the LDK AKR Alternative coalition -- have yet to be declared whether to vote on the candidate that coalition proposes PAN for prime minister.
“We have not yet discussed and made no decision on such a thing...”, says Sami Kurteshi, of Vetevendosje
While coalition officials LDK-AKR-Alternatives have not spoken whether they have made a decision as regards the presidential vote.
However, Kosovo's Assembly is expected to be constitutionalised in the 30-day term from the day the CEC is due to certified the election outcome.
The prime minister must be elected by at least 61 MPs.
While the coalition PAN, along with minority votes, reaches 59 deputies. But the choice of the chief parliament is not seen as any major problem by KDI, an organisation that monitors the work of the Kosovo Assembly.
The winning party or coalition is not limited to how many times they can propose names for the chief parliament. Even if no one is voted for a name, the assembly is not distributed, but the winning party or coalition can propose other names”, says Artan Murati, by KDI
In all this process, by KDII monitors, the challenge is seen in forming the Government, since already the 3 political blocks based on their results do not have the necessary numbers for government creation.
